Find out why our second theme was Relationships!
After the success of our first theme: Identity, we decided to launch the equally exciting and important theme of RELATIONSHIPS! Relationships are things that can define a person’s life, whether this is with a significant other, with friends and family, or our relationships with ourselves. Relationships are not always easy and can change your life for the better or worse, and so our team has decided that exploring something so fundamental in all our lives can provide inspiration and comfort to those who need it everywhere.

The theme has room for so much variety and many different points of view that we can't wait to read about from our contributors. There is no one on the planet that has not been defined by at least one relationship and in our community these are extremely important for our collective and individual growth.

We hope that all of you are as excited as we are by the new theme and keep your eyes peeled for new articles - like our beautiful interview feature from a son talking about having two mothers! And of course continue supporting and reading all our inspiring articles on Identity from our amazing contributors.
Here's why we picked our first theme to be Identity!
We chose Identity to be our first theme because of how important it is within the community. It's a word and concept that people struggle with throughout their lives, in so many ways, and it's a word that encompasses everything about what it means to be human. And this is what we wanted to reflect throughout the issues. The diversity of human life and everything that a single word can hold.
In choosing our theme we have been incredibly lucky in the wide range of topics our contributors have chosen to write about under 'Identity', from Coronavirus to the Black Lives Matter Movement to Asexuality. As we continue with this theme in the upcoming months we are all greatly looking forward to seeing what other topics and demographics our contributors decide to focus on.
Some of our Ambassadors and Queermunity volunteers have filmed videos entitled ‘What does Identity mean to me?’ Feel free to check them out and get in contact with us on our social media about ‘What Identity means to you?’
