It’s that time of year again...Queermunity introduces our third theme since we went live a year ago this month! The theme? JOURNEYS! Everyone has been on one, whether that be physical, spiritual, emotional, or sexual (to name just a few) and recently we have all been undergoing a rather extreme transformative journey - that of the COVID-19 Pandemic. This is why we have chosen it to be our next theme...because as people we are constantly changing, adapting, overcoming and moving forward both as a society and individually. Sometimes we are forced to partake in a Journey that is scary and challenging whilst other times they are things we jump at the chance to embrace and embark on. In every instance however they add to core aspects of ourselves. It is the great Journey through life that allows us to form our most meaningful relationships, embrace our unique identities, and recognise our own strength.

Queermunity itself has been on quite the journey since its conceptualisation back in April 2020. From starting out as the brainchild of three beautiful bisexual people it is now the collaborative project of a dedicated team of ten. Keep an eye out for the revealing of this journey in depth in the upcoming months!

For those of you who have been here since the beginning we thank you for sticking with us throughout this journey and for all the newcomers...Welcome! Are you ready and excited!? We have some excellent articles coming up, including one about demisexuality and the journey to acceptance society is still in the process of doing. As well as a very exciting Film Panel Project collabing with many of our previous contributors, including Queer East Film Festival and Middle M. Productions.
